Scott Hicks

CEO & Director

Mr. Hicks was previously an investment banker working with RBC Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets on their respective mining teams. He also served as VP Corporate Development and Communications of Anfield Gold, which was consolidated into Equinox Gold. He currently serves as the VP Corporate Development and Communications of Lumina Gold and Luminex Resources. Over the last decade he has worked on a variety of equity, debt and advisory assignments while working in Canada and Australia. Mr. Hicks holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of British Columbia.

Leo Hathaway

VP Exploration

Mr. Hathaway is a geologist with extensive experience in the exploration and mining sector. He has worked with the Lumina group of companies since 2004.  Mr. Hathaway currently serves as Senior VP of Exploration for Lumina Gold and Luminex Resources. He was the former Chief Geological Officer for Lumina Copper and Anfield Gold and former VP Exploration for Northern Peru Copper, Regalito Copper, Global Copper and Lumina Resources. Prior to 2004 he worked for Inmet Mining in Europe, Australia, Central and South America. Mr. Hathaway holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Applied Geology from the University of Plymouth, a M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from the University of London and obtained a P.Geo from the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario in 2004.

Jukka Pitkäjärvi

VP Finland Operations

Mr. Pitkäjärvi has worked for more than 30 years in the international mining and metallurgical industry. Most recently he was CEO of Ferrovan Oy, a private company developing the Mustavaara project and other vanadium projects in Finland. Mr. Pitkäjärvi holds a M.Sc in Geology and Mineralogy from University of Oulu (Finland), Business Engineering Diploma from Oulu Polytechnical University (Finland) and Business Management Diploma from POHTO - Institute for Management and Technological Training (Finland).

Lyle Braaten

VP Legal and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Braaten is an experienced lawyer.  He is the President & CEO of Miedzi Copper, a private company actively exploring for copper and silver in Poland. Mr. Braaten is currently a director of Ero Copper, a mid-size copper producer with operations in Brazil. He is also currently VP Legal Counsel and director of both Lumina Gold and Luminex Resources. A former director and VP Legal of Anfield Gold and a director of Lumina Royalty. Mr. Braaten joined the Lumina group of companies in 2008 and assisted in the creation of Magma Energy, a renewable energy company. In 2011, Magma and Plutonic Power merged to create Alterra Power Corp which was acquired by Innergex Renewable Energy for $1.1B. Mr. Braaten received a law degree from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary.

Martin Rip

CFO

Mr. Rip is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over 20 years experience in industry and public practice providing business advice to a variety of clients. He is currently the CFO of Miedzi Copper, Lumina Gold and Luminex Resources and the former CFO of Anfield Gold, Lumina Copper and Lumina Royalty. Mr. Rip has extensive experience in financial reporting and internal controls compliance for public companies.  He holds a law degree from the University of Birmingham and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Marshall Koval

Senior Advisor

Mr. Koval is a mining executive with approximately 40 years of corporate management, M&A, finance, mineral exploration, mine development and operations experience and has worked on mining projects in over 30 countries. He served as Chairman & CEO of Anfield Gold Corp, and is currently the CEO and a Director of Luminex Resources, CEO and a Director of Lumina Gold, is a Director of Equinox Gold and is a Director of Miedzi Copper Corp. Previously, Mr. Koval was a partner in Lumina Capital, LP and served as CEO of Northern Peru Copper Corp, VP of Corporate Development for Lumina Copper Corp, President of Pincock, Allen & Holt and held management positions with Golder Associates, BHP/Utah International, Inco, Meridian Minerals and Inspiration Consolidated Copper. Mr. Koval holds a BSc. in Geology from the University of Missouri and is a registered professional geologist in North Carolina and Washington.

Timo Mäki

Director

Mr. Mäki is an experienced geologist who resides in Finland.  He was most recently the Chief Geologist at the Pyhäsalmi Mine, where he worked from 1988-2018. He discovered the Mullikkoräme zinc deposit in 1987 and Pyhäsalmi deep deposit in 1996. Mr. Mäki is currently on the scientific advisory board of the K.H.Renlund Foundation and the EU Horizon 2020 project “Next”. He also served on the board of the Finnish Mining Association from 2013-2016. Mr. Mäki has a Master’s of Science (Geology and Mineralogy) from the University of Turku.

Michael Moore

Director

British Columbia registered professional geologist with a B.Sc. geology degree (1989) from Carleton University (Ottawa ON). He is a third generation miner with +25 years of field work and project management experience working on (i) a wide range of gold-copper deposit types in North and South America, (ii) Achaean nickel-PGM deposits in Nunavut, (iii) manto-type carbonate replacement base metals, (iv) low sulphidation epithermal gold systems in Mexico, (v) uranium and tungsten mineralization in various Canadian provinces and (vi) intrusion-related gold and copper-gold systems in northwest Canada.

Mark Serdan

Director

Mr. Serdan has over 20 years’ experience working in the capital markets industry where he specialized in evaluating resource companies. Mr. Serdan is currently the CFO of Aurion Resources, a TSXV public company (TSX-V:AU).  Prior to becoming CFO at Aurion, Mr. Serdan was a Portfolio Manager for approximately 15 years, at BMO Asset Management (7 years) and UBS Global Asset Management (8 years), where he was responsible for making investments in the resource sector and for managing the firm’s resource funds. Mr. Serdan also previously worked 5 years at BMO Nesbitt Burns as an Investment Banker and a Research Associate. Mr. Serdan has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) designations.
